General Guidelines - Superseded by Game Specific Guidelines

1.1 Welcome

Welcome to the Gaming Oasis Conference Guidelines! This document will consist of important information and general guidelines that are used for covering high-level rules for our conferences. Our general guidelines can be superseded by various other documents such as Title or Regional Specific Guidelines which provide much more direct information on their respective topics.

All conferences and events throughout are owned and operated by Gaming Oasis (Unless otherwise stated such as our Partner Events or Growth Projects which have limited Gaming Oasis Affiliation) and therefore the terms “Staff”, “SEL/WEL/MEL/NEL Staff”, “Conference Staff”, “League Staff, “League Administrator”, “Gaming Oasis”, “Gaming Oasis Staff”, or similar Gaming Oasis or Gaming Oasis Conference Titles should be considered interchangeable when discussing various conference or competitive matters.

1.2 Gaming Oasis Conferences

The Gaming Oasis Conferences are designed by our team in order to provide the best playing experience. These conferences include teams from various traditional conferences but are not limited to them to ensure all teams in a region receive the best possible opportunity to compete and represent themselves.

Canada is included in a few of our Conferences, however it is not currently included in the graphic.

1.2.1 Conference Structure

The Gaming Oasis Conferences are structured across multiple levels, starting with the National level, representing Gaming Oasis as a whole. Below that are regional conferences, such as the SEL. Within these regional conferences are Competitive Titles or Games, like Rocket League. Finally, within each Competitive Title or Game, there are Competitive Levels that define the competition level, such as Collegiate or High School.

An Example of the structure outlined above would be Southeastern Esports League Rocket League High School or Southeastern Esports League VALORANT Collegiate.
