Welcome to the Gaming Oasis League of Legends (LoL) Competitive Title Game Guide! This guide covers League-specific settings, procedures, and exceptions. Use the Conference General Guidelines for shared rules and the assigned format for competition structure.
Specific season dates appear in the Competitive Calendar for each conference, available in the conference docs channel.
Each League of Legends game day consists of one match set. Each team plays one scheduled series per night; a series may contain multiple games. SEL plays Wednesday and NEL plays Monday, with the default start at 7:00 PM CST / 8:00 PM EST, as listed in the conference format and calendar.
For broadcast matches, the Production Team directs when the League Hub draft, in-client champion selection, and game launch begin.
The assigned format document controls series length, weekly rounds, groups, division assignments, progression, standings, and reschedule and completion deadlines. These gameplay rules apply throughout that format.
A separate League of Legends primary format is not currently published in Conference Formats. The published League format is the Secondary Format below. A primary competition requires its own published format and Staff assignment before teams use it.
Eight weeks; designed primarily for 8–16 teams and supporting up to 16. All series are Bo3, with one scheduled series per week. Registration changes group numbers and sizes without changing the phase structure.
