Linked accounts connect your gaming platform identities to your League Hub profile. They are required for team eligibility — a player on a roster does not count toward eligibility until their required accounts are linked and current.

Overview

Account Links & Requirements on Profile supports Discord, Steam, Epic Games, and Riot ID. Use platform sign-in where offered. If Riot sign-in is unavailable, Profile offers a self-reported Riot ID instead; that is not an OAuth-verified account.

Linked accounts are managed on your Profile page — not on the team page. After linking or refreshing an account, team eligibility recalculates automatically.

Required Accounts by Game

For Rocket League, you need Discord plus at least one of Steam or Epic Games — not both.

Linking an Account

  1. Click your profile icon in the header and open Profile.
  2. Scroll to Account Links & Requirements.
  3. Find the required platform and choose Link. If Riot sign-in is unavailable and a Riot ID field is shown, enter GameName#TAG and choose Save Riot ID instead.
  4. Complete the platform sign-in flow when offered and return to the Hub. For the manual Riot ID option, save the ID directly in Profile.
  5. Confirm the saved username and account status. Platform-authenticated links show Verified; a manually entered Riot ID shows Self-reported. Resolve any Update required message.

Refreshing a Linked Account

Sometimes a linked account needs to be refreshed — for example, after a platform username change or when the Hub needs an updated handle (common with Discord).
