Overview

Use this guide to manage members and roles, handle substitutes, and keep team and event rosters eligible after a team is created. For joining a team, creating one, or editing its basic details, start with Joining a Team & Team Management in the related guides above.

Who Can Manage the Roster

Role What you can do
Program Owner, Admin, or Team Manager Manage team rosters in your program.
Team Captain or Coach Add, remove, and change roles on your own team.
Player or Sub View your roster and leave your own team.

Program and team roles are separate. Program membership does not automatically put someone on a team.

Adding or Changing Members

  1. Open your program → team → Roster.
  2. Choose Add members, select a program member, and assign Player, Sub, Captain, or Coach.
  3. Choose Add to team. Ask the player to resolve missing or Update required account links on Profile.
  4. Check Overview → Eligibility, then review the roster used by each registered event.

To change a role or remove someone, open the settings menu beside their name. Use Leave team beside your own name to leave. Confirm the action; program membership and participation history are retained.

<aside> 💡 Anyone you add must already be a program member. Before removing or demoting your last eligible Captain or Coach, appoint a replacement.

Team Roster vs. Event Roster

Roster What it means
Live team roster Current members on the team's Roster tab.
Event roster The players and roles in use for a specific registration. This can be locked.
Completed match roster The saved roster for an earlier match. Today's changes do not rewrite it.

Check the roster in use

  1. Open Registration and choose View roster on the relevant registration.
  2. Review Event roster (in use) and any lock or eligibility warning.
  3. If a comparison appears, check Live team roster or If synced from live roster for differences.
